Wyndham Hotels and Resorts expands to Panama

As part of Wyndham’s strategy to establish Wyndham hotel properties in key international and gateway cities, they are making an addition to Panama City. They are changing the current five star, 301-room Veneto Hotel & Casino in Panama City to the Veneto, A Wyndham Grand Hotel. Through their plan of pursuing status in international cities, they aspire to cement their position as a global hospitality company and further prove their strength as a hotel brand.

The Andalex Group, a New York City-based real estate organization will run the hotel, this organization specializes in property acquisition development, construction management and leasing. They chose Wyndham as their flagship hotel and believe it will attract a new range of foreign tourists to Panama.

The new hotel is located on Via Veneto in Panama City’s financial and business district, which is found between Via Eusebio A. Morales and Via Espana, only 20 minutes from Panama’s Tocumen International Airport. The new Veneto, A Wyndham Grand Hotel will, after a undergoing a multimillion-dollar renovation offer four restaurants, full-service spa and fitness centers, a rooftop pool, a business center, and 15,000-square-feet of meeting space. They will also feature more than 40,000-square-feet of gaming area, making it one of the largest casinos in Latin America.
