Extreme luxury is easy to find on the Las Vegas strip, but hard to compete with.  That’s why many are impressed with Wynn Las Vegas.  Hotel owner Steve Wynn opened the hotel in 2005, investing $2.7 billion in this 2,700 room hotel.

wynn            The Wynn Las Vegas offers 18 restaurants, a 7, 042 yard golf course, 32 boutiques such as Vegas’s first Manolo Blahnik and Oscar de la Renta on the strip, a 45-room spa, a Ferrari dealership, two must-see shows, water-centered entertainment attractions that go every half-hour in the evenings, launching from the 140-ft. alpine mountain and 70-ft. cascade of water that empties into a 3-acre reflection lake within the hotel’s grounds (which is edged by many restaurants, including Parasol Up and Parasol Down and the Daniel Boulud Brasserie.

The Spa at Wynn Las Vegas offers more than 40 treatment rooms, a large Jacuzzi, plunge pools, to “deluge” chambers where powerful water pound out sore muscles on shoulder and neck areas, and a large coed waiting room/Zen chamber between the men’s and women’s lounges.  Some of their unique spa treatments include the Arabian Massage, an 80-minute treatment of warm oils massaged into pressure point areas in the scalp and feet and an over-body massage; a 20-minute milk bath laced with coconut, pineapple, honey and lavender; and the Good Luck Ritual, which puts the five elements of Feng Shui into the treatment to being on good fortune at the casinos.

The Wynn offers two shows.  First is “Le Reve” (from $99 a seat), a Cirque du Soleil spin-off on water.  Second is “Spamalot” (from $69 a seat), which is a combination of the celebrated Monty Python shows from Broadway.  Wynn packages the shows with a dinner for two at one of eight restaurants (the Bartolotta-Ristorante di Mare, Daniel Boulud Brasserie, Okada, Tableau, The Country Club-A New American Steakhouse, Wing Lei, Terrace Pointe Café and Corsa Cucina) which will allow for a night to remember.  And afterwards you can go to luxury bars such as Tryst, and the Blush and B Bar.

Las Vegas is becoming more and more of a family vacation spot. Though Vegas is known for the night life, gambling, drinking, and “What happens Las Vegas, stays Las Vegas,” the strip is gaining more and more family-oriented shows and attractions. Not only with the glamour and larger-than-life buildings that are what Vegas is about, but with new attractions they’re adding due to the new boom in family vacations to Las Vegas.

When traveling with your family to Vegas, and even without the shows and family accommodations it would be just as amazing. Whether your 3 or 49, new or old, the magnificence of the hotels on the strip takes your breath away. No matter who you are, you stand in awe, gaping at the themed hotels in all their glory. As an adult you find yourself feeling like a child when faced with the Luxor, MGM, or Mirage for the first time. The sheer size and luxury blows you away. And many attractions at these hotels are free like the musical fountain show at the Bellagio, the volcano eruption at the Mirage, the Lion Habitat at MGM and the gods that come to life in sound and show at Ceasars. Though they cost, many family-friendly shows have arose in Las Vegas, such as Cirque du Soleil, concerts and comedy shows.

If traveling with a family, the Circus Circus hotel is the most family-oriented. With the Adventuredome indoor amusement park, you and your family can spend hours together riding the rides (which they have both larger and junior measurements of.) For an all-day pass to the Adventuredome it is approximately $24.95 per adult and $14.95 per child. And the Circus Circus offers luxury hotel rooms along with a KOA RV park if you drive family-vacation style.

Wherever you choose to stay, be it a hotel on the strip or one on the out-skirts, you’ll enjoy your stay with your family. Enjoying in the sites or in the shows, it will be a family vacation they won’t forget.
