More adventure can be found within the bull fighting season. This usually runs from late December to April, and the fights take place every Sunday at exactly 5:30pm. During these bullfights three men face three bulls in a ritual killing that dates back to the 16th and 17th centuries. The tickets are usually sold for two sections; the “Sombra” (shady) and the “Sol” (sunny) sides. As expected, the prices run higher on the Sombra side. You can purchase tickets from most large hotels and travel agencies, and they run from about 50 to 300 pesos.

If you’re looking to Acapulco for a natural, relaxing view, visit the many beaches along the Acapulco Bay . You can simply walk for miles barefoot, as there is sand that stretches along the bay. You can also visit the Caleta and Caletilla Beaches that are located on the ocean side of the peninsula.
